Humane Systems Studio

A fictional graduate studio using invented cases to explore participatory design, interpretation, and system governance.

Highlights

  • Weekly critique of entirely fictional system deployments.
  • Final demo connects synthetic evaluation with simulated stakeholder review.

Course premise

This fictional studio uses invented systems, institutions, and stakeholder scenarios to demonstrate a course-detail layout.

Learning goals

The fictional learning goals cover interpretability comparisons, participatory evaluation plans, imaginary policy constraints, and clear communication of system tradeoffs.

Learning format

Weekly demo meetings combine close reading, critique, and short design exercises. The final fictional project evaluates a simulated system using generated evidence and invented stakeholder perspectives.
